Overview

The BlackRock-Schlosstein Scholarship Fund at New Visions was established by Ralph Schlosstein and Jane Hartley in partnership with BlackRock Corporation. The BlackRock-Schlosstein Scholarship provides up to $20,000 over four years with a maximum of $5,000 per year toward the cost of the awarded student’s full-time undergraduate study. The scholarship amount is determined by tuition costs and financial need. Scholarships will be awarded to up to five students graduating from one of New Visions’ 76 schools and beginning college in the fall of 2010.
